Obituary Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2011 at an 11:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro for Thelma Guilbeau, age 87, the former Thelma Miller, who passed away Tuesday, June 21,2011 at the Butterfly Wing in Baton Rouge General Hospital in Baton Rouge. Interment will be in Bellevue Memorial Park in Opelousas. The Rev. Allen Breaux, associate pastor of St. Benedict the Moor Church in Duson, will officiate at the services.

Mrs. Guilbeau was a native of Sunset and a resident of Port Allen. She was a parishioner of St Peter Roman Catholic Church in Carencro.

Survivors include two sons, Ricky Guilbeau and his wife, Sable, of Sunset and Preston Patrick Guilbeau and his wife, Vickie, of Port Allen; two daughters, Sandra Pitre and her husband, Kenneth Sr. and Mildred Sevario and her husband, Calvin, all of Port Allen; eight grandchildren, David Guilbeau, Joey Digiralamo, Kenneth Pitre, Jr., Karrie Robin, Travis Brown, Sonia Guilbeau, Brandon Guilbeau and Gynger Sevario; ten great grandchildren; and two sisters, Dorothy Cormier and Addley Kidder, both of Carencro.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Preston Joseph Guilbeau with whom she will be laid to rest; her parents, John Miller and the former Lovenia Savoie; two brothers, Joseph Olen Miller and Kermit J. Miller; and one sister, Hilda Soileau.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Guilbeau, Travis Brown, David Guilbeau, Kenneth Pitre, Jr., Kenneth Pitre, Sr. and Calvin Sevario, Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be Joey Digiralamo.
