Lillian Alberta Kelly Miller was born to Blanch Kelly Miller and Albert E. Miller. ALbert abandoned her mother and her when she was just a baby so she never really knew him. She always said that her dad disappeared around the time his sister, Mary Miller Corey, went down with the Titanic. Then her mom died of complications to tonsillectomy surgery leaving her orphaned around age 8. She grew up with her aunts (Aunt Mayme and Aunt Bea) and cousins in PA.
