Hi Marilyn,

No worries on the speed of things, we all work on things at our own pace, I myself had put genealogy on the shelf for about a decade and didn't do anything. Have the profiles here, no matter how small, or taking time to build them up helps us as a "true family" as it shows connections that we might otherwise miss.

I myself just happen to have a lot of spare transit time that I fill with making minor corrections..

Hoping your family holidays are amazing!

Hi, my name is Marilyn, but friends call me "Mick" so either is fine. Retired secretary but couldn't handle being 'free' so have volunteered and 'worked' the past 20 yrs. Then entered into this so called "hobby", as somene put it, and never worked so hard in my life, frustrated, screaming, pulling my hair; howeverrrrr, if there is any information I have, I am more than willing to 'share'. I wouldn't be writing this if I hadn't been helped. I have never submitted my 'trees' to a site and won't if you have to pay to see them, sorry. Saw an entry for a Moffat family, wanted to give them more info. but had to 'join' first, SO HERE I AM and no, I'm not an expert! Most of family I'm researching is in Scotland. Dad's side, German. Glad to be here.

Mick

TY, Glad to have you any thing you need just let us know.
