Fred was born in 1896. Fred Miller was the son of William Henry Miller and Lydia Shopt. He passed away in 1967, and was buried at Rose Hill Cemetery, Spartansburg, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.[1]

Fred X Miller, 71, of 215 N Drake St, died unexpectedly Monday at 7:45 am, at his home. He was born July 15, 1896, at Emporium, the son of William Henry and Lydia Shopt Miller. Mr Miller had resided in Titusville since 1920. On Aug 1, 1962, he married the former Florence Loomis at Knox. He was employed for 25 years at the Forge Works Division of Struthers Wells, having retired in 1960. Besides his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs I L (Martha) Resinger of DuBois; a son, Robert Miller of Orlando, Fla; two stepsons and seven stepdaughters; four grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Seven brothers and four sisters died previously. Friends may call at the Gordon B Garrett Funeral Home...and attend the funeral service there Thursday at 1:30 pm with Rev Jack E Spencer of the First Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery at Spartansburg.[2]
