Peter was born about 1796 in Blackford, Perthshire, possibly son of James Millar and Mary Drummond.

Peter Millar married Mary White on or after 27 Mar 1825 in Stirling, Stirlingshire, Scotland.^[1]

In 1841 Peter, age 40, was in Neptun Place, St Ninians, Stirlingshire. He was a Lune Bunies.^[2]
