At 12 years old, on Tuesday April 22, 1884, Paul attended with his parents Mary and Conrad the wedding of his cousin, Anna Harkenrider to Ira Palmer in Sheldon (Yoder). The wedding reception took place after the ceremony at the brides parent's home. Anna was the daughter of Paul's mother's brother Henry. There is a newspaper article that lists most of the attendees and what gifts they gave to the marriage couple. Mary and Conrad gave a table cloth as a wedding gift. Mary's son Seraphim and his wife Catherine Miller also attended. They gave their cousin $2 in cash. (that would be about $46.50 in 2015 dollars.) Other Millers who attended included James Miller and wife, Mrs. Miller (?), and J. Miller. The happy couple did not honeymoon, but went immediately to their farm in Pleasant Township.[2]
On April 23, 1891 Paul Married Anna Laura Vanosdale in Allen County.[3] He and Anna had 8 children:[4][5]

Paul divorced his wife, Anna, in ______ when his youngest son was an infant.[8]
On April 19, 1907, Paul Married Hattie Fenton. She was born on January 29, 1889 in Mercer Ohio to Louis C. Fenton and Sarah N. Scott. Paul's age was listed as 40 in the marriage record, and 18 for Hattie.[9] The announcement in the paper reads:
Miss Hattie Fenton of Rockford, Ohio, and Paul Miller were united in marriage Friday evening, April 19, by Rev. G. F. Byrer, of Calvary U. B. church at the home of the groom's sister, Mrs. Link, of 1143 West Main Street. Miss Prairie M. Link and William F. Albrecht were the bridesmade and groomsman. A number of intimate friends were present.[10]
In the 1910 Census, Paul's first wife, Anna, is listed as a widow, but he had not died. She has alot of children in the house, plus boarders from Ohio. But she was divorced by this time since her husband shows up as the son of Conrad in marriage certificates dated 1907, 1925, and 1926 and each one shows that he had been married before. The 1907 marriage lists him as divorced.

On November 14, 1925, Paul marries for a third time to Ruth Parr Bryan. In the marriage license, Paul is listed as 51. Ruth, 57, was the daughter of Richard Parr and Rachel Horner. She was born on April 7, 1868 in Sidney, Ohio. She had been married three times before.[12]

About a year later, Paul remarried for a fourth time to Sarah A. Linker on October 10, 1926. She was born on March 18, 1875 to George Lahrman and Sarah Yeager in Allen County, Indiana. In the marriage record she was listed as 51, Paul was 54. Sarah was married once before.[14]
