Biography

Cynthia Marian Miller was born about 1811 in South Carolina.

She married Bradley Jolly on May 16, 1827 in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. ^[1]

The children of Cynthia and Bradley were:

The 1850 U.S. Census shows Cynthia at the age of 45 with Bradley at 58 living with 12 of their children on their own farm in Lauderdale County, Mississippi.^[2]

Bradley died in August of 1853.

The 1870 U.S. Census lists Cynthia as Marion S. Jolly, the head of the household, with her two youngest children, Melissa and Calaway still at home in Township 5 of Lauderdale County.^[3]
