1880: We find Daniel Miller (age 10) listed in the US Federal Census June 8,1880 living with his parents and siblings in Silver Creek, Greene, Ohio. He is the fifth of eight siblings listed - Joseph (age 18), Emma (age 16), Louis (age 15), Jacob (age 12), William (age 11), Frank (age 8) and Gustavus (age 6). Daniel's father, John Miller (age 57) does not show with an occupation and his mother Gertrude (age 46) is shown as "keeping house". There is one discrepancy noted that the Father was listed as born in Austria which we have discounted as an error in recording. All other facts appear to confirm know information about the family. Daniel was not in the home at the time of the 1870 Census, so he would have been born after June 8, 1870
