LEXINGTON - Imogene Miller Hiatt passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Lexington Medical Center surrounded by her family. Funeral services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2014 at Boiling Springs United Methodist Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 4, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel.

Imogene was born October 20, 1932 in Lexington County. She was the daughter of the late Otis Miller and Gladys Lucas Miller. She was a member of Boiling Springs United Methodist Church.

She is survived by daughters, Joyce Sharpe (Randy Felder), Gene S. Oswald (Jerry), and Lynda S. Glasser; son, Frank Sharpe; grandchildren, Candace Paxton (Ben), Mindy Price (Skip), Joni Sharpe, Krystal Kaim (Chance), and Michael Glasser; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Cook. Imogene was predeceased by her husband, Climate "Creeper" Hiatt; grandson, Michael Jerry Oswald; and daughter-in-law, Sherry Frasier. Also, the father of her children, Wilbur F. Sharpe.

As an expression of sympathy, memorial contributions may be made to Boiling Springs United Methodist Church, 2393 Calks Ferry Road, Lexington, SC 29073 for Handicap Ramps/Covered Walkways. 1
