Biography
Margaret Miller was born on 5 April 1803 in Benezette, Elk, Pennsylvania, USA.[1] Her parents were Captain John Jacob Miller and Anne Mary Leffler.
In the 1850 census Margaret was living in Gibson, Cameron, Pennsylvania, USA.[1][2]
In the 1860 census Margan (age 58) was in Gibson, Elk, Pennsylvania.[3]
Margaret died at the age of 61 on 15 January 1865 in Gibson, Cameron, Pennsylvania, USA.[4][5]
Margaret's estate passed probate on 26 August 1865 in Armstrong, Pennsylvania.[6]
Research Notes:
Margaret Miller (1802- ) profile was incorrectly merged into Mary Alcock (1764-1847) profile. Mary Ann (Alcock) Barr (1764-1847) was the mother of the spouse James Barr.
Parents listed as Captain John Jacob Miller and Anne Mary Leffler connection removed since birth surname of 'Alcock' is not 'Miller'. Mary have married a 'Miller' before 'Barr'. Additional research is required to establish parental connection with sources.
Miller is correct maiden name. since it was used on children sources. [7]
