Biography

Wendel was born between 1717 and 1731. Wendel Miller. He passed between 1761 and 1763. [1]

He might be the son of Johann Ludwig Miller and Anna Margaretha Richter.

He and his wife Anna Maria were the parents of Eva Christina, Johann George, Michael, Maria Barbara, Henry, Isaac, Elizabeth, and John.

The McCarty and Miller families lived together at Patterson's Creek. During an Indian raid in 1763 both Patrick McCarty and Wendel Miller were killed.

SAR application says Wendle died 1764 and his wife Anna Marie died 1790. The lineage given is through son George b. 1750 d. 12/23/1823 and wife Mry Magdelena Good b. 1856. The application was from John Dudley Lutton b. 1898 Furnas Co. NE George was private in Samuel Kearslagle Company 6th VA Regiment, Continental Line.

Miller-8882 and Miller-33140 appear to represent the same person because: Big difference in birth date, though Miller-33140 says its an estimate. Otherwise a good match.
