Jean-François Millet was a French Realist painter and a founder of the Barbizon school.
Jean François Millet's first marriage was to Pauline Virginie Ono dit Biot. She died in Paris on 21 April 1844. He later married Catherine Marie Joseph Lemaire on 12 September 1853 in Chailly-en-Bière.[1]
