Biography

Sarah was born on 4 April 1832 in Gwinnett, Georgia, USA. She was the daughter of Allen Millican and Jane Ann (Storey) Millican.[1]

When Sarah was 18 she married Cyrus M Herndon on 12 December 1850 in Chattooga County, GA. The couple had 7 children: Oceola M Herndon, Octavia M. Herndon, C Montague Herndon, Nancy S. Herndon, Charles M. Herndon, Sisera Herndon and Margaret Herndon.[2]

Sarah died at the age of 64 on 21 August 1896 and was buried in Trion, Chattooga County, Georgia, USA.[1]
