Hester Milligan Wooten, 93, Maryville, Missouri passed away, Wednesday, September 23, 2009 at Golden Living Center, Maryville, Missouri. She was born June 9, 1916 in Oxford, Missouri, the daughter of Harvey and Amanda (Willhite) Milligan. Hester married Lee Edward Wooten on November 2, 1941 in Maryville. She was a homemaker, had worked at Zipp's Restaurant and attended Laura Street Baptist Church, Maryville. Hester was preceded in death by her husband, Lee, on January 15, 1990, a son: Rex Wooten, on December 20, 1998; her parents; five brothers: Ardian, Pete, Austin, John and an infant Milligan and six sisters: Dorothy O'Dell, Ruby Hilsabeck, Mavis Pankau, Olivia Overman, Edith Pritchett and Zelma Milligan. Survivors include two grandsons: Randy and his wife, Karla Wooten, Maryville, and Robert and his wife, Sue Wooten, Maryville, six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren and a sister: Icle Jobe, St Louis, Missouri. Visitation is anytime after noon Thursday, September 24, 2009 at Price Funeral Home, Maryville. Funeral Services are 1 pm, Saturday, September 26, 2009 at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville. Burial will be in Nodaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Maryville, Missouri.
