Melina or Olive is born on July 26, 1886 -- her full name is Melina Olive on the birth record but is shown as Olive Melina on her gravestone. She is the daughter of James Mitchell and Serena Ward.

On January 1, 1913 Melina marries Albert Stanley Gardhouse (c1883-?) in Malton, Ontario.

She dies on April 14, 1952 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery in Toronto.
