Biography

Lanta was born in 1886. Lanta Mitchell married Albert L Ackerman. She appears in the 1920 census, but does not appear with her husband/family in 1930, and her husband is recorded as widowed, so it seems she died between 1920 and 1930. CORRECT

From the 1920 census, it appears Lanta may have had two sets of twins. CORRECT Heny Holland Ackerman-Albert Lanstrum Ackerman. (Martha Ackerman, then twins again, Lewis Ackerman and Lanta Ackerman).

Lantie died shortly after birth of twins, Lewis and Lanta. She was living in Guthrie, OK at the time. Buried at Summit View Cemetary, Guthrie, OK.

Excerpt from Rose Mitchell Runyan Diary. (1912-1916) written from parents home, Henry Holland and Minnie Mitchell, somewhere close to Bolivar and Aldrich, Mo.

Tuesday January 20, 1914 Lantie and Albert were married today at Springfield at the Metropolitan Hotel at 3:30 o'clock. ... They will leave for Guthrie, OK at 9:30 tonight where they will make there future home. God go with them, bless them, and guide them.
