Biography

Isabella was born on 17 December 1843 ^[1] & baptised 7 January 1844 Isabella Paterson Mitchell, Liverpool, Mount Pleasant Presbyterian, Lancashire the daughter of Robert Mitchell & Isabella Hay. Date of birth included in entry. ^[2]

A widow & lodging house keeper in 1881 living at the Promenade, Southport with daughter Minnie. ^[3]

Isabella Moon passed away on 1 Oct 1881, aged 37 years. Her death was registered in Ormskirk, Lancashire in the last quarter of the year.^[4]

"The Will of Isabella Moon formerly of 49 the Promenade Southport but late of 24 Hall-street Southport in the County of Lancaster Widow who died 1 October 1881 at Southport was proved at the Principal Registry by James Moon of 3 Hinderwell-place Scarborough in the County of York Gentleman the sole Executor. Personal Estate £477 2s. 7d."^[5]
