Biography
Hannah Mitchell b. abt. 1768 d. before 1817 m. 1788, James Saunders. Moved to Sumner Co. TN. abt. 1789, settling on a tract of 700 acres at the junction of Drakes Creek with the Cumberland River. After Hannah's death, James m. Mary Smith Donelson, daughter of General Daniel Smith, Rev. war. Mary Smith was the widow of Samuel Donelson, the brother of Rachel Donelson Robards (Mrs. Andrew Jackson).
