Vera Isabel (Mitchell) Herps was born on 22 Oct 1900 in New South Wales, Australia^[1], daughter of Charles Edward Mitchell (~1877 - ~1939) and Harriett Mignonette (Jacobs) Mitchell (1879 - 1946).

Vera died on 18 Aug 1954 in Mater Hospital, Waratah, New South Wales aged 53. She is buried in Sandgate Cemetery, Newcastle.^[3][4][5]
