Biography
Charles was born in 1856. The birth record showed his parents as William Lawrence Mitchell and Theresa McGarry.
He migrated to the United States before 1884, when he married Lavinia (surname unknown). They were shown together in the 1900 U.S. census at Mamroneck, New York.
No record of his death has been found but Lavinia appears to be listed in the 1910 census at Palisades, New Jersey, 1920 census at Duluth, Minnesota, and 1930 census at Santa Monica, California. Nothing else is known.
