Funeral services for Mrs. Lorena PORTER, 91, were held at the Smith Funeral chapel here Friday afternoon. Rev. H. William Arms Officiated.

Mrs. PORTER died February 29, (1956) at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Leslie JONES, in St. Helena. She has been ill since last December.

Mrs. PORTER is survived by four children, Fredrick Lee and Clair of Hartington; Guy of Lancaster, Calif.; and Mrs. Leslie JONES of St. Helena; nine grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Lorena PORTER was born September 24, 1864 St. Augustine, ILL., the daughter of John and Dianthia MITCHELL. She moved to Defiance, Ia., with her parents and married Ira PORTER there November 12, 1882.
