Elizabeth Mitchell was born to Jacob and Rebekah April 27, 1722 at Plymouth, Massachusetts.[1]
Elizabeth married Joseph Howland October 26, 1743 at North Yarmouth, Maine.[2]
On 01 June 1760, Joseph Howland, yeoman, and his wife Elizabeth signed a deed to sell a lot of land in North Yarmouth, York County, Massachusetts (later Maine), to Barnabas Soul. Elizabeth and her sisters, (widow Susannah Baker, widow Mary Fellows, Sarah and husband Andrew Tuck) had inherited this land from their parents, Jacob and Rebecca (Cushman) Mitchell.[3]
Elizabeth Howland, relict of Joseph Howland, deceased, was still living 5 Nov 1797, when she conveyed land in Burton to Simeon Porter, , witnessed by Ichabod Howland and his wife Martha.[3][4]
