Ann Mitchel was possibly baptised on the 4th of June 1786 at Crimond, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.[1] Possible parents are James Mitchel and Janet Elrick, who were married at Crimond in 1785.
Ann married John Youll, also of Crimond and had at least five children.
In the 1841 census Ann (age 55) was at Longhill, Crimond, Aberdeenshire.[2]
Both the 1851, when Ann Youll / Youle was 64,[3][4] and 1861, when Ann was 74, she was living in Crimond, Aberdeen. [5][6] Censuses state her place of birth as Crimond.
She died at Crimond in 1870 and was buried in the Crimond Cemetary.[7]
