Ann Mitchell was born in 1823 in Portsoy, Banffshire, Scotland to William Mitchell and Janet Barclay. She married John Stephen on 234 Aug 1843 in Banff, Scotland. Children: Jessie Ann, Mary Smithy, Anne Gordon, WIlhelmina, Robertha. She died on 14 Dec 1908 in Aberdeenshire, Scotland.
