Biography

John was born about 1656. He passed away about 1719.

His parents were Experience Mitchell and Jane. Mention is made in th Edward Small book that Experience removed to Bridgewater sometime after 1680 with a wife Mary, --Jane, the mother of all his children, having died -- where they lived with his son Edward ^[1]

John was married three times ^{[2] [3]}

1. John & Mary Boney / Bonney were married December 14, 1675. ^[4] Mary was daughter to Thomas and Dorcas (Sampson) Bonney. She died in 1677
2. John & Mary Lathrup / Lathrop were married January 14, 1679. Mary died the following year.
3. John & Mary Prior were married May 24 1682.

Research Notes

Edward Small source states that the mother of all of Experience children was 1st wife Jane, who had died, and that he had later married Mary. ^[1]
