"John ye son of John Mix was Born march ye 30th 1720" in New Haven.(p139)[1][2] His mother was Esther Morris.[2]

He married (1) 20 Nov 1743 in New Haven Lois, daughter of Samuel & Abigail (Pinion) Candee.[2]

He married (2) Sarah Davenport, daughter of Deodate and Lydia (Woodward) Davenport.[2]

Capt. John Mix's death occured 24 Jan 1796 in New Haven.[2]
