Jimmy Glenn Mixon, 56, Of Utica, Ms died Friday, December 11, 2009 at Central Mississippi Medical Center. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 15, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home Chapel in Raymond. The visitation will be on Monday, December 14, 2009 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the funeral home. The interment will be held in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS.

Mr. Mixon was a member of the Queen Lane Baptist Church and a retired Butcher formerly employed with Jitney Jungle and Sunflower Stores.

He is survived by his parents, John and Betty Mixon of Utica, MS; one son, Dustin Mixon and one daughter, Shellie Singletary both of Pelahatchie, MS; one sister, Lenora Thompson of Utica, MS and two grandchildren Korey Singletary and Kayla Singletary.

Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home in Raymond is in charge of arrangements.^[2]
