Ada Marie Stevens, 71
WOODSTOCK, Va. - Ada Marie Stevens, 71, a resident of Woodstock, Va., passed away Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015, at Consulate Health Care of Woodstock.
A funeral service for Mrs. Stevens was conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at Stover Memorial Chapel, with Pastor Brian Patrick officiating.
She was born July 24, 1943, in Lucedale, Miss., a daughter of the late John and Mildred Mizell.
Marie was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Newell, W.Va. She and her husband Jimmy were the former owners and operators of Flip Dizzy's in Manassas, Va. Marie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, joyful personality and warm hugs. She had a strong, loving heart and was loved by all who knew her. Marie enjoyed quality time with her family the most.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Jimmy E. Stevens; a grandson, Ryan Stevens; and three sisters and two brothers.
Marie is survived by her children, Sharon Stevens-Stoffel and husband Kyle of Winchester, Va.; Stanton Stevens and wife Anita of Woodstock; and Mark Stevens and wife D'Lena Stevens of Manassas; grandchildren, Jessica Godwin, Christina Stevens, Nicole Ennis, Drew Stevens, Brittany Vojitas, Stefani Stevens, and Tyler Stevens; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
