Elizabeth Mobberly, daughter of Edward Mobberly and his wife Susannah,[1] was born about 1741,[2][3] in Maryland, where they were living at the time.
Elizabeth would have moved with her parents about 1747/48 to Lunenburg (now Bedford) County, Virginia, where she is named in the will of William Brown, dated 1750, as his god daughter and the daughter of Edward and Susannah Mobberly.[1][2]
Marriage
Elizabeth married Job Meador[2][3], probably around 1757/58. Their children were:[2][4] John married Rebecca Moberly Thomas married Naomi Chandler Edward married Rebecca Jason
Death
Elizabeth died in 1838, and is buried in the Mobley Cemetery in Feasterville, Fairfield County, South Carolina.[3]
