Biography
Elizabeth, known as Bessie, born in 1903, was the daughter of James Moffat and Elizabeth Sugrue.
Bessie had 2 marriages. Her first at age 23, was to Geoffrey Vale Humphreys in 1926. Eight years later her second marriage took place to Kenrick Foster of Wallace, Southland.
Bessie and Kenrick farmed at Thornbury.
She passed away in 1982 age 79 and is buried at Riverton Cemetery, Southland.
