Biography
Elbert's will dated 27 Dec 1725 Hempstead, Queens, NY names wife Susanna to have the land and farm at Cow Neck, Hempstead. Eldest son Peter to have the Bible. To sons Peter, Rem and Theo all the land in Orange Co. He names Jane, Mary, Peter and Rem to have 50 pounds. Named brother Peter Montford and Rem Remsen as exe. Wits.....Proved 1 March 1725/6.
