Note:

She was listed as 51 in the 1850 census, so she was born in

1799. She was listed as 63 in the 1860 census, so she was born in

1797. In both censuses she said she was born in Georgia, but in the

1870 census, she said she was born in North Carolina. In 1870 she

siad she was 73, confirming the 1797 birthdate.

Subdivision 65.

Bear Cr.P.O. She was living with Moses in the home of William Harper

and his wife, Nancy. She was listed as "keephouse".

It is not certain that she died in Georgia.

There is some question as to the spelling of Catherine's surname:

Muni?...Mauney?...Moony?...Mooney? Her ancestors may have come to

America from Germany, via Philadelphia, at aboutthe same time as many

Eddlemans.

It is likely that Catherine descended from John Jacob Mauney
(wife's maiden name "Eaker").
