Biography

Edward Moore born 1701 was the 2nd son of Charles Moore and His wife Jane Loftus ^[1]

1727 he succeeded as 5th Earl of Drogheda on the death of his brother Henry Moore ^[1]

He m1) Lady Sarah Ponsonby, daughter of Brabazon Ponsonby, 1st Earl of Bessborough and Sarah Margetson, in 1727, ^[1]

m.2). Bridget Southwell, daughter of William Southwell and Lucy Bowen, on 13 October 1737. ^[1]

Edward Moore, 5th Earl of Drogheda died on 28 October 1758, lost during a passage from Holyhead to Dublin, together with his younger son Edward. ^[1]
