North Carolina Estate Files: Wife and 7 Children listed: James, John, Robert, William, Valentine, Patsy and David.

Information from Leah Moore, descendent: During further research today as to where he is buried, my husband actually spoke in person to a town and county historian in Troy, NC who knew exactly where the cemetery in the pasture is, directed him to speak to the current land owner (Mr. Beaman) who guided him there. The cemetery is labeled on old wood attached to a tree, Beaman-Moore Family Cemetery (formerly known as the Red Hill cemetery) and is actually less than one mile from my husband’s Moore grandparents home place and the surrounding area where he use to play as a child. They counted 13 discernible graves, most of which had very old, some broken, slate marker stones. Unfortunately, no carvings can be found. All about a mile north of Shiloh Church, Troy, NC. GPS coordinates are 35 degrees, 23 minutes, 41 seconds north by 79 degrees, 55 minutes, 55 seconds west. At the corner of Corbett Road and Shiloh Church Road, Troy, NC.
