Joshua Moore was born in 1753.^{[citation needed]} According to the import of his profile, he was born in Sussex County, Delaware.

Joshua Moore was documented in Greene County, Georgia in 1797 when he, Thos. B. Wyatt, and Joseph Jackson appraised the Estate of Edward Jackson.^[1]

Joshua Moore of the county of Greene, state of Georgia, set his hand and seal to his Last Will and Testament on the 26th day of February 1816 making special bequests unto:^[2]
