Biography
Calvin C. Moore, at the age of 84 years, wrote a Supporting Affidavit for Otie Thornton, in her application for a Birth Certificate after the age of 12 years.
" I have a clear recollection as to the date and place of her birth because her parents and their children were visiting at her grandparents home at the same time I was in 1892. They spoke of her age and she appeared to be that age. I recall it was that year especially because I was courting my future wife at that time and we were married early in 1893." Calvin C. Moore, Uncle by Marriage, 7511 The Paseo, Kansas City 10, Missouri. Sworn on December 14, 1957.
