Biography
Edith was born about 1654. She was married first to a Mr. Moore. She married Mr. Wilde after her first husband's death, and had children with both husbands. She wrote her will in 1745 and passed away the same year.
Research Notes
Since Edith Wilde names her son Charles Moore in her 1745 will in Queen Anne County, Maryland, it is probable that she was first married to a Mr. Moore, and that after he died she married Mr. Wilde. This would mean her last name at birth is currently unknown.
There was no Peter Wilde found in Maryland records. The only contemporary Wilde that was age appropriate to be the husband of Edith was Abraham Wilde, the younger.
