The original surname "God" came from a Gedcom prepared by my late cousin. I think he visited the churches and transcribed the documents himself. It is evident the entry was fairly unreadable. See the David Cross transcriptions he was unable to sort out the date. Was the "God" bit an expression of exasperation he forgot to edit out ;-) ? I have elected to go with David Cross' "Moore" surname but I will leave the date, as is, and mark it all uncertain. Thanks Maggie and Trudy.

Is her marriage name really GOD ?

I will help you but please let me know the source where you find this spelling of her surname?

Thanks.
