Sarah was born in 1901 in Ballytober, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the daughter of James Moore and Martha Dick. Her birth was registered by Sarah Milliken of Ballymoney, Islandmagee.[1]
In 1921 she married William Ross in Whitehead Methodist Church, County Antrim. He was a sailor from Gransha, Islandmagee and she was a minor [under 21] from Ballytober, also in Islandmagee. The witnesses were Thomas Ross and Ellie Moore. Her father was deceased at the time of the marriage.[2]
Sarah passed away in 1992 in Carrickfergus, County Antrim, Ireland.[3] She is interred in Islandmagee New Cemetery (Plot# B42).[4]

In remembrance of WILLIAM ROSS Born 1898 - died 1975 aged 76 years. And his wife SARAH (SADIE) died 12th May 1992 aged 91 years. Also their daughter JENNY (JEAN) LINDSAY died 17th October 1992 aged 65 years.
