Biography

Sarah was born in 1901 in Ballytober, Islandmagee, County Antrim, Ireland, the daughter of James Moore and Martha Dick. Her birth was registered by Sarah Milliken of Ballymoney, Islandmagee.^[1]

In 1921 she married William Ross in Whitehead Methodist Church, County Antrim. He was a sailor from Gransha, Islandmagee and she was a minor [under 21] from Ballytober, also in Islandmagee. The witnesses were Thomas Ross and Ellie Moore. Her father was deceased at the time of the marriage.^[2]

Sarah passed away in 1992 in Carrickfergus, County Antrim, Ireland.^[3] She is interred in Islandmagee New Cemetery (Plot# B42).^[4]
