2006 Obituary

Clyde Edward Moore, 71 of Shallotte, died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at Columbia Brunswick Hospital.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Davidson Funeral Home, Hickory Tree Chapel, by the Rev. David Robinson. Burial will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park.

Mr. Moore was born Feb. 1, 1935, in McDowell County to Samuel Howard Moore and Goldie Jane Phillips Moore. He was retired from Joyner Wrecking Co.

Surviving are five sons, Wayne Moore and his wife, Ann, and George Moore and his wife, Tina, all of Winston-Salem, and Donnie Moore and his wife, Ruby, Raymond Moore and his wife, Ginger, and Melvin Moore and his wife, Kim, all of Lexington; two stepsons, Chris George and his wife, Lori, of Asheboro and Jeff George and his wife, Cindy, of Lexington; two daughters, Susan Lemunyan and her husband, Cobey, of Siler City and Karen Moore and her husband, Jose, of Winston-Salem; four sisters, Dottie, Willa, Ruth and Eva Lee; 26 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
