Tom Moore was the son of John Moore who first discovered graphite at Black Donald, Ontario. He married Salome Godin and they had seven children: Irvine, Cecil, John, Edna, Claire, Evelyn and Frances. Tom was a farmer, cattleman, logger and road builder. His farm was situated on the former site of the tiny hamlet Black Donald Creek. Tom was born before 1900. Tom Moore ... He passed away in 1949 and his wife Salome died in 1954. Both are buried at Mt. St. Patrick, Ontario.
