The 1860 Census (Mobile Alabama) identified Alza C. Moore (A Moore) as age 42, which calculates to about 1818 birth. ( says born in Maryland) with the following family members: Henrietta - identified as age 3....in reality, Henrietta Olston is his wife and should be approximately his age, or age 43. (although she could be 33).or any age from 30 to 43 - I believe error on the part of the transcriber) Children idenitied as Alza Moore age 5, ann age 3, alice 2 Other household members include: George Moore, age 72 born in Maryland, believed to be Alza Moore's father. Maria Moore believed to be child of A Moore (from a first marriage??) George Moore, believed to be a son of A Moore.(from a first marriage??)
