Forrest married, Lincoln, Kansas, 30 Dec. 1925, Beulah BERYL Baird, dau. of Elmer and Lena Delia (McKinney) Baird, b. near Lucas, Kansas 6 July 1906. They were in Hunter, Kansas in 1984. Retired farmers, Methodists. Beryl pieces lovely quilt tops in a variety of patterns. Forrest enjoys fishing, and both have happy memories of fishing trips with friends. Children:

Don had two years of military service, one in Korea. From the Lutheran Home in Winfield they adopted Jean Ann, b. 28 Aug. 1956; Mark, b. 29 July 1954; Holly, b. 5 June 1965. In 1984 Don had been employed for a out 35 years with the Co-op; manager at Brownfield, Texas, then at Plainview, where in 1984 they resided.
