GARLAND. (1898, December 30). The Carcoar Chronicle (NSW : 1878 - 1943), , p. 2. Retrieved from http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article102629591 GARLAND. FROM OUR CORRESPONDENT. 28/12/98. It is with feelings of deep regret that I have to announce the death of Mr William Moore, of the Two-Mile Creek, at the age of 52 years, which sad event took place at his residence on the morning of 26th inst. The deceased gentlemen had been a long sufferer for a great number of years, and, although he had been under the skilful treatment of Dr. Hawthorne and other leading Doctors of Sydney, he could get no relief. The cause of death is supposed to be a tumor on the brain. The funeral took place on Tuesday, and was largely attended, the remains being interred in the R.C. Portion of the Carcoar Cemetery, the Rev. Father Kelly officiating at the grave. The deceased leaves a widow and a large family to mourn his loss.
