Cowra Free Press (NSW : 1911 - 1937), Wednesday 6 August 1919, page 2. ^[1] Death of a Pioneer. The death occurred on Friday last of a very old identity in the person of Mr. William George Moore, at the age of 74 years. The deceased was a native of Appin and was married at Malley Grove to Miss Martha Wood. He leaves a grown up family of five daughters and two sons, also many grandchildren and several great grandchildren. The funeral took place to the Church of England cemetery the following day, Rev. John Parr officiating at the grave. Mr. W. J. Simeon conducted the funeral.
