Researchers Notes

Parentage of Mary Bullock needs to be determined:

  • Mary BULLOCK d/o John BULLOCK and Ann RICE
  • He married Mary Bullock Abt 1741 at Albemarle, Virginia . Mary Bullock was born at New Kent, Virginia Abt 1720 daughter of Edward Bullock and Sarah Dalby... This is doubtful, as Edward Bullock's children are older than Mary Bullock, born circa 1720: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/GSJ7-F2M
  • It is said that "Mary (Bullock) Moore is known to have been the sister of Patterson Bullock of Louisa County." This makes sense even though I cannot document it. Susannah Moore, dau b 1 Feb 1756 married David Bullock b: 10 Nov 1757 Albemarle Co., Virginia, Patterson's son. [3]

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with John by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with John:

Moore-78902 and Moore-1641 appear to represent the same person because: likely duplicate

Moore-45209 and Moore-1641 do not represent the same person because: Corrected the dates of birth and death for Moore-1641 and added DAR records to each to support that they were not the same person. Moved the wife of Moore-1641 to Moore-45209 and left notes to alleviate the confusion.

Trying to research his son William Harvie Moore. He was born after the stated death date of his father.
Moore-3845 and Moore-1641 appear to represent the same person because: there are no dates on Moore-1641; however, the spouse is the same
Do not believe Nancy Ann Moore was a daughter of this John Moore
