Tompkins Co., NY Deeds Liber BB:139 On 10 Apr 1830 Paul Moor & Levi Moor of Hector, Tompkins Co., NY purchased 50 acres in Hector Lot 21 from Asgill Gibbs & Sally his wife of Seneca Co., NY for $400. Described as being part of Military Lot 21 in Hector known as the Survey fifty acres, being a square fifty acres at the north east corner of said lot. Everts and running thence east thirteen chains & forty-seven links to the west line of the survey fifty acres on said lot, thence north to the north line of said lot, thence west to the north-east corner of the said Abraham H. Bounded as follows: commencing in the east line of said lot at the south-east corner of lands this day deeded to James Moor, thence west eleven chains and eighty-six links , thence north seven chains & seventeen links to the north line of said lot, thence west along said north line twenty-one chains & twenty-nine links, thence south ten chains & sixty-six links, thence east ten chains and sixty-five links to the west line of the survey fifty on said lot, thence south fifty-two links, thence east twenty-two chains & fifty links to the east line of said lot , thence north four chains & one link to the place of beginning containing twenty-eight & thirty-two thousandths acres of land. Will of Paul Moore: In the name of God, Amen. I Paul Moore of the town of Hector, Schuyler County & State of New York being of sound mind and memory of the age of eighty-five years do make publish and declare this my last Will and Testament in manner following that is to say: First: I give and bequeath to my son Lebius Moore five hundred Dollars Second: I give and bequeath to my son James Moore three hundred Dollars Third: I give & bequeath to my daughter Mary Farlin, five hundred Dollars. Fourth: I give & bequeath to my son Asa Moore three hundred Dollars. Fifth: I give & bequeath to my daughter Sarah Jane Couse one hundred Dollars. Sixth: I give & bequeath to my son Enoch Moore three hundred Dollars. Seventh: I give & bequeath to my son Henry Moore five hundred Dollars.

Second: I furthermore give & bequeath to my grandchildren the following sums of money: Fred Moore two hundred Dollars. William Moore two hundred Dollars. Chester Moore two hundred dollars & to my Granddaughter Ida Moore, Enoch Moore’s daughter two hundred dollars. The household property that is left after my decease is to be sold to the highest bidder what I do not dispose of myself. After my death if there should be anything left- it is to be divided equally among my children mentioned in the foregoing . Lastly I do hereby nominate & appoint my sons Lebius Moore & Henry Moore to be executors of this my last Will & Testament hereby revoking all former Wills by me made. In Witness Whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 9th day of July A.D. 1884.
