Camm was a Friend (Quaker)

Biography

On 26th day, 9th month, 1778, he was received as a member of New Garden Monthly Meeting on a certificate from Cedar Creek Meeting in Virginia, dated either 21 or 24, 8th month, 1778 (Hinshaw I: 563, VI: 260). The minutes of Cedar Creek MM call him "a birthright Quaker" (VI: 260). The same year he married Sophia Benbow. They had seven known children.
