Biography
William Gideon Moreland was born on March 18, 1837, in Estill, Kentucky, his father, Elijah, was 27 and his mother, Sarah, was 21.
He married Martha Ellen Willoughby Moreland on September 6, 1866, in Vigo, Indiana. They had two children during their marriage.
He died on September 11, 1895, in Walla Walla, Washington, at the age of 58.
