Death

Find A Grave says 23 March 1705, which would be 1706, (others say 1701, including the U.S. & New England Marriages record). His son Isaac Jr. has the oldest gravestone in Enfield Street Cemetery dated 1696; so it seems that Isaac Sr. probably still lived there when he died. This is useless information due to this being a virtual memorial with no gravestone or cemetery known. Find A Grave: Memorial #39289176

Research Notes

Springfield was burned to the ground by the Indians in King Philip's War in 1675 and many records are missing.

He passed away in 1740.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Isaac by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Isaac:

Morgan-23060 and Morgan-10683 appear to represent the same person because: Both of these men were born in Springfield, Massachusetts, and both of them married Abigail Gardiner in 1673. I believe these two Isaac Morgans are the same person.

There is conflicting information about the date of death. I don't see solid sourcing for either date, but the 1705 date seems more likely.

I note that Ancestry reports an Isaac Morgan who married an Abigail Gardiner, also in Springfield, on 12 March 1767. I cannot discern a date for their marriage on the low-legibility record image cited, at https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/collections/2495/images/40143_268136__0005-00080 , but the legible dates in the image are in the 1670s, leading me to think that this is the record of the marriage in 1673.
